365 Challenges

New Year's Eve

 WoW!  What a year it has been.  We didn't quite get to 365 challenges but there has been a significant number of challenges to spark your creativity.  I hope that I was able to inspire you to scrap and use some of your stash :-)

Today's challenge for the last official day of 2010 is to look at the past challenges and choose one of your favorites and do it again.  No law says you can't repeat something that worked and you liked!

Leftovers

I hope you saved some of that gift wrap from presents you opened.  Today's challenge is to re-use some of that wrapping paper on a layout.  See what you can do with it.

Holiday Decorations Scrapped

 Every year when I decorate I try to do things a little differently, but when I find something that works, I want to remember it.  Today let's scrap our holiday decorations as they are.  This is a great time to use your square punch and put a collage of photos together.  Be sure to journal anything that you want to remember--what worked and what didn't, what you want to try next time.

Lights

What is it about Christmas and lights?  Is it because it's dark so early and the lights make everything seem warm and peaceful? I'm not sure but I do love the holiday lights. 

Today's challenge is to bust out your tripods and try to capture your holiday lights with your camera.  You will probably have to play with your camera settings a bit.  Don't get frustrated.  You can capture that perfect picture. 

 

Treats!

I love holiday baking!   I have my standard recipes that I make every year and then I try to throw a new one in just to spice things up. 

Today's challenge is a photography one.  Photograph some of your holiday treats.  Yum!  I'm hungry just thinking about it.

Christmas Nostalgia

Isn't it fun to look at old pictures from past Christmases?  Can you remember what you got that Christmas or a funny story about Christmas that year?  Today's challenge is to scrapbook a picture from a past Christmas.  Don't forget to include some journaling about what made that day special.

Christmas Card

I like to scrap my christmas card that I send out every year.  Weird, huh?  I like to see what I've sent before and how we've all changed.  Do you scrap your holiday card?  Today's challenge is to scrap your holiday card. You can even include journaling if you want but it isn't necessary. 

Chipboard & Glitter

Today's challenge is to embellish some chipboard with glitter and use it.  Have you see those fabulous glittery chipboard alphabets?  You could do that yourself using the stuff that you already have.  Do it today and add some glitz to a layout with your newly created embellishment.

Holiday Tradition

Today's challenge is to create a layout about a holiday tradition.  When my kids were younger we used to make gingerbread houses every year.  Now I've started bringing back that tradition with my youngest.  What holiday traditions do you have?  Have you scrapped them?

Santa's Helper

If you are like me, your "to do" list is a mile long.  Today is a day to spend being santa's helper.  Work on any holiday gifts or cards.  Or just work on your decorating or shopping.  Get something done.
