It feels like the summer is almost over and I still have so much that I haven't done yet!  Anyone else feel that way???

Art Journal Entry #3 - Staycation

I did another art journal entry today:

We actually did one of the things on my list here yesterday.  We went to visit the new California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.  It was pretty cool.  We became members so we can go back again this summer.  I didn't get to see the Living Roof but I guess that is something for next time.

Of course I took my camera with me....

I caught an albino alligator, a butterfly and a lizard.

Getting Away from Me

I realized this morning, as I finally rolled out of bed at 9am, that this summer is starting to get away from me.  It's already well into the second full week of summer vacation and I really haven't done anything that I want to. 

Feeling inspired, I did this today...

I saw an art journal about 2 weeks ago by *PolkaDotRobot* and it totally inspired me by.  So today, I started one of my own.  This is the cover page.  I think that I'm going to journal about different things I want to do this summer and go from there.  Look for more pictures to come.
