You probably wonder where I've been lately.
I have to say that "real life" sometimes sucks you in. We've had visitors & a first communion, since I've been home. Then I had that scrapbook project that I started before I left on vacation to finish.
WoW! What a task.
If you don't remember the project, it was to create two school days albums. Doing the albums wasn't a big deal, but then I know both of the girls and I wanted them to have a bit of their "personalities" in them. Hmm. How to add personalities but not add a lot of expense? Bring on the cricut!
I have a baby bug. I didn't buy it for myself, but my husband bought it for me as a Christmas gift when they first came out. I have to say that it is probably something that I wouldn't have bought myself. I've never really thought of myself as much of a die cut person. That said, we've used it a lot for school projects.
So this week, while I was scratching my head trying to figure out what to do to personalize these books, I did just that--PLAYED. I was cutting different shapes, in multiple sizes and just testing everything out. I guess I've never really played with the cricut. And something happened while I was playing....I found some inspiration. :-)
How often do you play with your tools? Maybe I need to make a regular play date with them. How many circut cartridges do you own??? Or is that a question you don't want to answer??
Peace. Out.
